RELEASE OF LIABILITY: (please read before filling out show entry form)
Please read carefully. We would hate for someone to come to our show and not be able to participate.
Each entry form must be signed by the rider or their parent/legal guardian if they are under 18 years old. If you are bringing a minor rider without their parent, please download the entry form (and CGA membership form if needed) ahead of time and bring it SIGNED BY THE PARENT. Notes authorizing you to sign for them are NOT acceptable.
Pre-entries must print out show signup form and bring a signed copy to the show. Riders without a signed signup form will not be allowed to ride.

Remember, all our forms are available on this site. To save a little time on show day, you can print your forms at home and mail them into D9 with your show payment.

BY MAIL: Include a show signup form and a check (made out to Redwood Riders) for your show. If you are new to CGA, please include a CGA Membership form. If you are new to District 9, please include a District 9 Membership Form. Signups by mail must be received the Friday before the show, so mail early. If for any reason, you cannot make it to your show, your entry fee will be fully refunded. Please make refund requests within 7 days of the show date.

BY PAYPAL: Fill out a show signup form at home and bring it to the show – MANDATORY. (We must have a signed signup form before you can actually ride.) Figure out your fees and follow the “paypal” instructions on our “shows” page.

 

REFUND POLICY:
*Entry fees are non-refundable with the exception of an injured horse or rider.
*Pre-entries are refundable provided there is a good reason and you contact show management within seven (7) days of the show.
*If a show is cancelled, all pre-entries will be refunded.
*CGA Membership fees are non-refundable.

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS

 

Membership Term:
Membership runs from August to August each year. You must renew your membership each year to remain eligible to vote.

Member Eligibility:
Membership will be awarded on the basis of participation in shows whether riding or working. You must ride or work in at least two shows per year to become a member of District 9.

Dues:
There are currently no dues required by District 9.

Show Participation:
You do not have to be a member of District 9 to ride at a District 9 show. If you are a regular attender, you are encouraged to apply for membership and enjoy voting rights.

Record Date for Voting:
In order to vote on any issues or for directors, you must have been a approved member for at least thirty (30) days prior to the vote.

District 9 will hold at least one membership meeting each year. This meeting is usually after September and combined with our Year End Awards Potluck. Officers will be elected at this meeting.
