BRING SHADE
There is no more shade at Eddy Ranch. The last tree near the arena has given up the ghost. Those of you who have pop-ups may want to dust them off. Bring lawn chairs and your popup and enjoy the season a little more.
SNACK SHACK
Jan Brandon has been really faithful running our snack shack this last year. Thanks so much, Jan. However, she is tired and would like to help in other areas of our club. If you have a hankerin’ to run the snack shack, please let Rebekah know. For now, please be prepared to bring food. (Jan will offer drinks like she did last month.) We will be running eight events this week as well as a Run for Fun in order to boost the club’s profits, so there won’t be a formal lunch break or time for you to run to town.
SIGNUP TYPES
On your signup form, there are different signup options. Please contact a board member if you have any questions about signing up.
R – Regular ride/$4.50: Participation ribbon, buttons for any 1st-5th placings, eligibility towards High points, times into State.
P – Points ride/$3.75: Eligibility towards High Points, times into State
T – Time Only/$3.00: Times into State
S – Setup/$3.00: Times into State
FYI: $1 of each ride goes to California Gymkhana Association.BRING A HIGH POINT SPONSOR or RAFFLE PRIZE
We are always looking for individuals or businesses willing to sponsor a high point for one of our shows. A typical sponsorship is $250 or six to seven high points depending on the divisions we are running. Our raffle has really kept our club afloat over the past year. We need you (our riders) to bring in some raffle items for this coming season. If you have any questions about raffle items, please contact our raffle queen, Kristin Praly, at horsegal@praly.com. We are also looking for someone who can do commercial embroidery on some of our prizes. Let us know if you have a contact with reasonable prices. |
